for a wonderful product." I grew up in the Badlands of western South Dakota, I have had a passion for hunting in the outdoors since I can remember. At about age 11, Mom bought me my first 22. it was the biggest Christmas ever. Immediately, I was on the phone with Grandpa Elmer getting advice on trapping and calling in coyotes. During that time, you could get on average $50 for a coyote, $30 for raccoon, and up to $400 for a good bobcat hide. WOW! That was big money for an 11 year old. Because of that old Ithaca single shot, I was able to put enough money together to buy my first 2 heifer calves and a Remington 243. Ammunition was a lot more expensive for that 243 so I thought I would try and reload my own rounds, I was careful at first, but then got a little too confident in my ability. It was about a year after I bought the 243 that I more or less blew it up. Since then I have totally gone by the book. That has been many years ago. Now my family and my professional career with Northwestern Mutual limits my time to reload. Thank you Black Hills Ammunition for picking up the slack.
