Currently all branches of the US Military purchase their match 5.56mm ammunition from Black Hills. They choose our ammo because we offer the highest level of performance for their needs. Military marksmanship is highly competitive; if something better were available, the competitors would be using it.

We continue to receive new contracts to provide ammunition which will be used by our troops for an even more important mission, defending our country. Now every round of ammunition that leaves the Black Hills factory is hand inspected for you by our quality control staff. Every lot we produce is tested for pressure and velocity every day.

Dealers have been our foundation since our beginning in 1981. We greatly value our dealers, and do our best to take care of their needs . Dealers can expect high quality ammunition and great personal service. When a dealer calls to set up an account, make or check on an order, or ask a question, a real person answers to assist them. Our marketing polices assure the dealer a chance to make a reasonable profit when he stocks our ammunition. Black Hills will not generally be the lowest cost ammunition available, but we do feel it is one of the best values. We sell in increments small enough to make it easy for the dealer to stock, and we pay the freight, even on single case orders.

Hello, my name is SSG Tyler XXXX. I am a Team Leader for Team X-X in F Co 51st Infantry Long Range Surveillance Company stationed in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, currently finishing up our second yard long deployment in Iraq. Myself and the members of my unit wanted to express our thanks for the superior product that your company offers the Military. Your MK 262 5-56mm ammunition has become the standard by which we will judge all of our ammo. The only complaint that anyone has is the hard time that we have getting it. (Everyone that can get it is quite protective of it.) This is a testament of everyone’s hard work that we will trade whatever we have on hand, including high explosives and such for your ammo whenever possible.
